Design Engineer - Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

The Design Engineer supports the development of non-complex mechanical designs from concept to tender stage, ensuring compliance with client requirements, standards, and multidisciplinary coordination. The role involves working closely with project teams and staying updated on industry trends while contributing technical knowledge to the team

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of engineering standards, codes of practice and UAE authorities’ guidelines


• Good experience in calculating and selecting HVAC systems.


• Expertise in computer skills, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP & BIM360 platform.


• Coordinate efforts of assigned design team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design effort.


• Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.


• To provide planning, support & develop of concept, schematic & detailed designing of HVAC systems for commercial, retail, hospital and residential & high-rise projects with the team assigned.


• To provide space planning, support, design of HVAC systems with the team assigned.


• Good experience in HVAC systems including district cooling systems, VRV, heat recovery ventilation, and commercial kitchen and basement ventilation system etc.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required to Execute this Role

• Minimum of 7+ Years of experience with HVAC Design. Experience on Gulf Design projects is preferred.


• Qualification – B. E / B. TECH (Mechanical)


• In depth knowledge of mechanical engineering


• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes


• Good communication and presentation skills
