Design Engineer - Mechanical (SPM)

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (SPM)About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in designing special purpose machines. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently on projects with minimal knowledge transfer. You are expected to do:Independently design and develop special purpose machines from concept to completion.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including specifications, design calculations, and bills of materials (BOMs).

Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.

Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the manufacturing process.

Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support as needed.

Requirements

You will be a great fit if you have:5 - 8 years of relevant work experience in Design & Production with B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in independently working on project deliverables from the base design stage to detailed designs.

Have Excellent Knowledge on North American standards like ANSI/ASME Y 14.1

Have Good Knowledge of Mechanical GD&T.

Experience in Consumer/Industrial product design and detailing.

3D CAD skills-Specifically SolidWorks or Inventor.
