Design Engineer - Seating

This will help you grow:

• Conduct concept feasibility studies and provide design proposals aligned with ergonomics and vehicle packaging requirements.


• Develop and validate 3D models & 2D drawings using CATIA V5.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CAE, Testing, Manufacturing,) to ensure design robustness and manufacturability.


• Coordinate with suppliers for prototype development, design reviews, and engineering change implementation.


• Support DFMEA and DVP creation for seat systems.


• Participate in vehicle integration and clash checks to ensure fitment within vehicle architecture.


• Provide technical support during tooling, prototype builds, and production launch.

This is how you will help us move forward:

• 4+ years in automotive seating system design and development.


• Design and development of seat systems — mainly in plastic trims; knowledge of seat foam, seat structure, and mechanisms will be an added advantage.


• Hands-on experience in seating projects (front/rear seats, luxury seats, or 3rd-row folding systems).


• Experience working with global customer.Expertise in CAD software: CATIA V5.
