Design Engineer - Transmission

Automobile Transmission design (2D and 3D)

• Design and development of transmission components and systems in compliance with standards.
• Design knowhow Transmission products such as Torque Converter, Dual Dry Clutch, Dual Wet Clutch, Dual Mass Flywheel, Gear / Speed Reducers, Clutch Kits & Aftermarket Solutions
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA with a focus on manufacturability and assembly feasibility.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMEA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysis, manufacturing, and validation).
• Manage design changes and support product development from concept to production.

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, powertrain/transmission mechanisms.
• Good knowledge of GD&T and automotive standards.
• Hands-on experience in CATIA surface and solid modeling.
