Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.\n\nRole Overview \nWe are looking to hire a strong technical leader to architect and overhaul the testbench environment for state-of-the-art interconnect IPs.\n\nResponsibilities \n\u2022 In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art DV methodology\n\n\u2022 Drive testbench architecture and development to verify complex interconnect and subsystem designs while working with the wider engineering team\n\n\u2022 Ensure a scalable, reusable DV environment is built and deployable across different tiers of products\n\n\u2022 Work with all stakeholders to ensure program success\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field\n\n\u2022 12+ years of hardware engineering experience or related work experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nRequired Skill Set:\n\n\u2022 Strong debugging skills; experience with UVM, SystemVerilog, and UPF\n\n\u2022 Understanding of specifications and standards, and development of relevant test plans\n\n\u2022 Experience with monitors, scoreboards, sequencers, and sequences that utilize scripts, SystemVerilog, UVM, and methodologies to increase the rate at which bugs are found and resolved\n\n\u2022 Post-silicon bring-up and HW\u2013SW debug experience is a plus; knowledge and exposure to silicon debug toolchains is an added advantage\n\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of digital design concepts\n\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of DV and power DV methodologies and tools\n\n\u2022 Good understanding of ARM CPU architecture and ARM-based SoC architecture\n\n\u2022 Understanding of bus protocols such as AHB, AXI, ACE, ACE-Lite, and CHI\n\n\u2022 Understanding of multi-core ARMv8 CPU architecture, coherency protocols, and virtualization\n\nEducational Requirements\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
