Desktop L2 - Store Engineer Mumbai (Wadala/Bhiwandi)

1.       Managing first and second level support for store applications be it point of sale, handheld devices, weighing scale, standard software etc.

2.       Remote access via standardized tools for smooth support.

3.       Monitoring and analysis of calls and resolution quality.

4.       Managing of software's used for working of applications with the help of SOPs shared. Example Oracle Stack (Web logic, Oracle DB, Advanced Queues, JRE) for POS applications, SQL and IIS for Customer Feedback system, Weighing scale application etc.

5.       Performing data recovery of Point Of Sale transactions in the event of data loss as per SOP.

6.       Installation and support of required software's / retail applications like (ORAPOS, payment gateway application, Gift card applications etc...) on server and PoS, desktops, handheld scanners, weighing scales, etc.

7.       Coordination with third party vendors for application support.

9.       Onsite engineer support for On call locations in the event of any failures and also for onsite stores in the event of failures during non -service window.

10.   Performing start of day and end of day services, data processing at central and store server's - this would need a 24 x 7 availability of central store support team.

11.   Support backup team for application and database backups at store as well as central systems. POS backups would primarily consist of logs and queues.

12.   Application and database backups at store as well as central systems. Backups are needed at POS as well.

13.   Upgrades and fix packs installation for databases, middleware and application on servers and POS.

14.   Installation of required software's / applications on Server and POS Devices.

15.   Access rights control and management as per SOP.
