Desktop Publishing Operator

Responsibilities :

1. Review documents for grammar, spelling, and style

2. Meet proofreading deadlines

3. Fact-Cheque dates and other statements for accuracy

4. Ensure all text adheres tone and character count outlined by company policies

5. Confirm all submitted writing is original

6. Make corrections and edit the document

Proofreader Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant experience

2. Proficiency in basic computer programmes, such as Microsoft Office

3. Familiarity with style guides

4. Excellent grammar and communication skills

5. Fact-chequing and research expertise. Publication background must. Science background preferred.
