Job Description - Desktop Support

We are seeking a detail -oriented and proactive System Associate to join our Corporate IT team. As a System Associate, you will be responsible for providing first and second -line IT infrastructure support, managing Microsoft 365 and Azure services, supporting endpoint management, and ensuring efficient day -to -day IT operations.

What to expect in your journey

Infrastructure & Systems Support
  • Provide day -to -day support for Active Directory, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), on -premises networking, and endpoint issues.
  • Assist in managing Microsoft Azure resources, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), virtual machines, storage, and related services.
  • Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Perform Entra ID administration tasks such as user provisioning, group management, Single Sign -On (SSO) troubleshooting, and basic Conditional Access policy support.
  • Support Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, configuration profile deployment, application deployment, and compliance monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot Windows 11 operating system, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Helpdesk & Incident Management
  • Respond to and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 support requests within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Diagnose technical issues and escalate complex incidents to senior engineers with clear documentation and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate ticket records, update issue status, and ensure timely communication with end users.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles to improve support efficiency and self -service capabilities.
Security & Compliance Support
  • Follow least privilege principles and established access management procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring endpoint security and compliance baselines.
  • Support vulnerability remediation activities under guidance.
  • Assist with evidence collection and documentation for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits.
  • Adhere to organizational security policies and change management processes.
Automation & Documentation
  • Execute pre -approved PowerShell scripts for routine administrative tasks under supervision.
  • Maintain and update operational runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.
  • Document infrastructure changes and support activities in accordance with change management procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
What you bring to the table
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or systems administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
