Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure,
  upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows OS (Windows 7/10) and Microsoft Office
  (2007–2022, O365).
  
• Provide support for
  desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals in workgroup and domain
  environments.
  
• Perform hardware
  troubleshooting and replace components like RAM, HDD, SMPS, motherboard,
  etc.
  
• Install and troubleshoot
  applications, antivirus software, and resolve malware/virus issues.
  
• Configure and
  troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and email -related problems.
  
• Provide L1 and remote
  support using tools like Any Desk, TeamViewer, VNC, etc.
  
• Handle basic networking
  issues (LAN/Wi -Fi/IP configuration).
  
• Maintain IT assets and
  inventory records.
  
• Support Active Directory
  tasks such as user creation, password resets, and access issues.
  
• Perform preventive
  maintenance of IT equipment.
  

Requirements

Key Skills Required:

1. Handling 20–50 users for
   desktop -related activities
   
2. Graduate in IT or IT
   certification
   
3. Basic printer
   troubleshooting knowledge
   
4. Hardware replacement and
   OEM warranty support knowledge
   
5. Good email communication
   and prompt user response skills
   
6. Good command over
   English and Hindi
