Summary

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our internal computer infrastructure. This position is essential for ensuring seamless daily operations, minimizing technical disruptions, and providing high-quality assistance to end-users across the organization. The ideal professional will possess a robust understanding of hardware and software environments, acting as the primary point of contact for resolving complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems related to desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
Manage and maintain server connectivity, including routers and switches, to ensure network stability.
Administer email clients, specifically Microsoft Outlook, and handle system update deployments.
Oversee antivirus protocols and implement data backup procedures to safeguard organizational information.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting for Windows operating systems and general IT infrastructure components.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential technical failures.

Requirements

Requirements:

Possess between 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure elements, including servers, networking devices (routers and switches), and desktop hardware.
Show proficiency in managing Outlook, performing system updates, and executing data backup strategies.
Exhibit strong technical aptitude in troubleshooting computer hardware and resolving Windows OS issues.
Maintain a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff.
