Job Description - Desktop Support Engineer (L2) Application Support

Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer (L2) – Application Support


Experience: 6–9 Years
Location: Pune (Work from Office)
CTC: Up to 9.5 LPA
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Preferred
Interview Mode: Virtual (2–3 Technical Rounds)


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support L2 Engineer with strong expertise in application support. The role involves providing technical support for end -user systems and business -critical applications, ensuring seamless operations and quick issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 deskside and remote desktop support to end users
  • Manage application support including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and application -related incidents using ITSM tools
  • Handle IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and asset lifecycle activities
  • Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for L3 escalations and ensure timely resolution
  • Monitor application performance and suggest improvements
  • Act as a bridge between IT teams, business stakeholders, and management
  • Ensure adherence to SLA, CSAT, and quality standards
  • Maintain proper documentation and knowledge base

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in vendor coordination and escalation handling
  • Understanding of enterprise IT environments
  • Strong analytical and problem -solving skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work from office (Pune)
  • Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice preferred


Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong experience in Desktop Support (L2)
  • Hands -on experience in Application Support
  • Knowledge of Kofax Print Management Tool
  • Exposure to Kofax / Equifax applications support
  • Good understanding of ITSM tools and incident management processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
