This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevOps (Azure) - Specialist in India.
This role sits at the heart of cloud engineering and platform reliability, focusing on designing, building, and optimizing scalable Azure-based infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. You will play a key part in shaping end-to-end cloud architecture, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise-grade standards. Working across multi-tenant environments, you will design CI/CD workflows, automate deployments, and strengthen operational excellence through Infrastructure as Code. The position blends architecture, hands-on engineering, and DevOps best practices in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with development, data, and automation teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions. This is a highly impactful role where your work directly influences system performance, scalability, and reliability across large-scale applications.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud and DevOps solutions across Azure environments while ensuring operational excellence and system reliability.
- Define and assess technical and business requirements, translating them into scalable cloud architecture and high-level solution designs
- Build and maintain Azure-based infrastructure including multi-tenant environments and enterprise-grade cloud services
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support automated, reliable software delivery across environments
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure repeatable and consistent deployments
- Establish monitoring, backup, and maintenance frameworks to ensure system availability and performance
- Collaborate with automation and engineering teams to support cloud-native and intelligent automation initiatives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across DevOps, infrastructure, and application lifecycle processes
- Create reusable architecture patterns, documentation, and implementation standards
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on DevOps and cloud engineering expertise with deep experience in Azure ecosystems and infrastructure automation.
- 5–7+ years of experience across IT domains including infrastructure, networking, security, identity, and application systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as IAM, VNets, Azure Functions, AKS, Key Vault, Storage, SQL, and API services
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git-based workflows
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Solid understanding of DevOps, SRE, and Agile delivery practices
- Experience working with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools and production support best practices
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and architectural thinking abilities
- Azure certifications and multi-cloud exposure (AWS or GCP) are a plus
