Job Description - DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support the design,
automation, deployment, and management of infrastructure and application environments. The
candidate will work closely with development, QA, support, and operations teams to streamline CI/CD
pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure reliable and scalable production environments.
The role involves managing cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines while
maintaining system performance, availability, and security. The ideal candidate should have hands -on
experience with Jenkins, Terraform, cloud platforms, scripting, and container orchestration technologies
like Docker and Kubernetes.
The engineer will also support production environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and
continuously improve deployment processes through automation and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Deploy applications across multiple environments while ensuring seamless integration with customer
infrastructure.
Manage and troubleshoot infrastructure issues while maintaining optimal system performance and
security.
Administer and manage Linux -based environments ensuring high availability and reliability.
Monitor infrastructure and application performance and implement proactive improvements.
Manage and support microservices -based deployments in production environments.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline build and deployment workflows.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Groovy for DevOps operations.
Support and troubleshoot networking issues including routing, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
Diagnose and resolve performance, environmental, and stability issues in production environments.
Support build, release, and deployment processes to maintain stable software environments.
Scale and maintain large business -critical production environments.
Adapt to changing business requirements and new technologies.
Participate in on -call rotations to support deployment and production environments.
Manage end -to -end CI/CD operations including build artifact deployment and integration.
Maintain documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure configuration, and operational
procedures.
Collaborate with vendors and technology partners for infrastructure improvements

Skills and Qualification:
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and automation workflows.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Strong hands -on experience in Linux environments, with expertise in command -line operations, system
administration, and shell scripting.
Hands -on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, firewalls, DNS, and load
balancing.
Excellent problem -solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Python, Bash scripting, or Groovy.
Familiarity with ITIL processes (ITIL certification preferred).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Skills:
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience managing microservices -based architectures.
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Working knowledge of infrastructure components such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL,
and Redis.
Strong documentation skills for maintaining deployment guides, runbooks, and operational
documentation.
Experience supporting production environments and incident response.
Understanding of observability tools including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
