JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for Mid to Senior level Platform / DevOps Engineer talent based in Hyderabad to join our Financial Crime team. The role is focused on building, optimising and operating cloud-based data engineering platforms that underpin Financial Crime capabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and data platforms, primarily on AWS.


• Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Shell and/or Python.


• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment and delivery.


• Deploy and operate Apache Spark workloads on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).


• Apply a strong understanding of data concepts, design patterns and algorithms to platform solutions.


• Champion DevOps practices, including automated testing, monitoring and operational excellence.


• Drive automation of processes and workflows across the engineering lifecycle.


• Collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders to communicate problems and solutions clearly.


• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and uphold a DevOps mindset across the team.


• Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based development, particularly AWS.


• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Shell and/or Python.


• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.


• Experience running Apache Spark on EKS or equivalent container-orchestrated platforms.


• Good understanding of data concepts, design patterns and algorithms.


• Broad engineering competencies spanning DevOps, infrastructure and testing.


• Firm grasp of Agile methodologies with a drive to automate processes and workflows.


• Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences.


• Enthusiasm for learning and adopting new technologies.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Hadoop, Elasticsearch, Docker and/or Kubernetes.


• Domain knowledge in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Financial Crime.


• Experience with data migration and data analysis.
