Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Bangalore (On-site/Hybrid as per project requirements)
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Budget: 80lpm-1lpm
Experience: 3–6 years
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore and help build secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. You will collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
• Integrate security tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning) into build and deployment workflows
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Monitor and enforce security controls in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure/GCP environments
• Collaborate with development teams to perform threat modeling, code reviews, and security assessments
• Respond to security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement remediation controls
• Create and maintain documentation for DevSecOps processes, standards, and runbooks
• Mentor and train team members on secure coding and DevSecOps practices
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–6 years of DevOps/SRE experience with a strong security focus
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and security integrations
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Go)
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and securing container workloads
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated security services
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Working knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Nice to Have
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or CISSP
• Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing
• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK, QRadar)
• Familiarity with IaC scanning tools (Checkov, tfsec, Tresor)
