Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Deputy Finance Manager to support the Finance Controller in managing the company’s Accounts & Finance operations. This role will focus on financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and accounting expertise, with experience in handling statutory requirements and supporting management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Reporting
  

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
    

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly MIS reports, P&L, and balance sheets for management review.
    

  • Assist the Finance Controller in consolidation of accounts and financial dashboards.
    

• Budgeting & Analysis
  

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
    

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on cost optimization.
    

  • Track KPIs and financial performance metrics.
    

• Compliance & Audit
  

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.
    

  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for smooth audit closure.
    

  • Maintain strong internal control systems.
    

• Accounts Payable & Receivable
  

  • Oversee vendor payments, invoices, and reconciliations.
    

  • Monitor receivables and ensure effective collection management.
    

  • Assist in cash flow monitoring and working capital management.
    

• Support to Finance Controller
  

  • Partner on financial strategy, ERP implementation, and process automation.
    

  • Provide analytical support for investment and business decisions.
    

  • Act as a bridge between finance operations and senior leadership.
    

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
  

• 8-12 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in IT/Software industry.
  

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Indian GAAP/Ind-AS, and taxation.
  

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and advanced Excel.
  

• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
