Job Summary :

To lead end to end supply chain activities at plant to meet Demand Vs Commit and Commit Vs Supply targets through internal planning processes and operational excellence

Key responsibilities:

Production Planning & Control (PPC), Material Management, WH Management, Logistics and Compliance across supply chain activities.

1. Be the single point of contact for all supply chain related communications at Plant.


2. Taking ownership & accountability of monthly commit and supply.


3. Safety, Quality & Compliance across supply chain activities.


4. Maintain and strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring timely closure of deviations, change controls, CAPA, investigations, and related documents.


5. Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, including timely response and closure of audit observations.


6. Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards including cGMP, regulatory audits and applicable statutory requirements.


7. Drive effective production planning and execution in coordination with stakeholders to meet agreed production schedule and customer commitment.


8. Monitor and optimize RM/PM inventory levels, validate inventory norms periodically, control Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory and commercial inventory.


9. Material quality release coordination and ensure compliant in-time dispatch of finished goods, accurate documentation, and adherence to delivery timelines.


10. Ensure handling, control, and compliant disposal of expired, rejected, and scrap materials, including timely scrap dispatch.


11. Cross functional co-ordination and resolution to achieve supply chain targets.


12. Represent plant in S&OP and other supply chain forums as required.


13. Lead supply optimization programs at plant.


14. Periodic assessment of plant capacity and lead optimization initiatives.


15. Logistics Management.


16. Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare MIS, and actively participate in review and performance meetings.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, MBA Min 15 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain operations


• Min 5 years of experience in Pharma / Nutrition / Foods Manufacturing / Supply chain operations


• Hands on experience in planning tools like SAP, KINAXIS, etc


• Min 5 years of experience in Regulatory Environment
