Job Title: Deputy
General Manager (DGM) – Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)
Location: Hyderabad, India
Experience: 18 – 25 Years
Reports To: Head
– Quality / COO / Project Director
The DGM – QA/QC will lead the organization’s Quality
Assurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring all projects, processes, and
deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The
incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems,
managing audits, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to
applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the
organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO and
industry standards.
• Establish and enforce QA/QC policies,
procedures, and inspection protocols across projects.
• Define quality objectives, KPIs, and continuous
improvement plans in coordination with project and functional teams.
• Ensure all documentation, records, and reports
are accurate, traceable, and compliant.
• Oversee QA/QC activities across all project
phases — design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method
Statements, and Quality Control Procedures.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and
surveillance to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
• Manage non -conformance reports (NCRs), root
cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and
third -party agencies for inspections, approvals, and quality certifications.
• Review and approve vendor QA/QC documentation,
inspection plans, and material certifications.
• Ensure material traceability, testing, and
inspection at vendor facilities and project sites.
• Evaluate supplier performance and support
procurement in vendor qualification.
• Lead a multidisciplinary QA/QC team across
multiple sites and business verticals.
• Build and develop team capabilities through
coaching, training, and mentoring.
• Promote a culture of quality excellence,
accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory,
and customer quality requirements.
• Prepare and present regular quality performance
reports, audits, and dashboards to senior management.
• Liaise with external certification bodies for
ISO and other quality audits.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO
45001, and relevant industry codes (ASME, ASTM, API,
BIS, etc.).
• Proven experience in implementing and managing
large -scale QA/QC systems in EPC / infrastructure / manufacturing environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem -solving, and
decision -making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and
stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and
digital reporting systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical /
Civil / Electrical or related discipline).
• Master’s degree or specialization in Quality
Management preferred.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Lead
Auditor ISO 9001 / Six Sigma / TQM) desirable.
• 18–25 years of experience, with at least 5–8
years in a senior QA/QC leadership role.
• High integrity and strong ethical standards.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a
process -driven approach.
• Collaborative, persuasive, and able to influence
cross -functional teams.
• Resilient under pressure with strong
organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO
45001, and relevant industry codes (ASME, ASTM, API,
