DGM Warehouse and Logistics

Job Description

• Ensure ABC cycle-count accuracy >99.5%

• Ensure all day-to-day activities are executed as per the set procedures

• Sound Knowledge in line feeding

• Guarantee zero-line stoppages on account of available materials

• Challenge to meet project targets
• Do inventory analysis and report high value/volume inventory & Improve Turns to industry standards

•  WMS knowledge

• Improve stock accuracy as per corporate guidelines and publish the report on monthly basis with C& PA for discrepancies

• Strong hold on Perpetual Inventory, Cycle Count

• Take appropriate action to avoid the ageing of parts in stores
• Improve claim management process
• Improve Team morale by playing active role within the team  
• Input Out Put Reconciliation know how
• Locator mapping skill set
• Improve traceability in warehouse
• Work on Kitting of materials
• All transactions handled within timelines

Qualifications/Requirements

·       Bachelor’s Engineering or a decent graduation from a reputed college or university (with a minimum of 15 + years of experience in a SCM, Warehousing or Logistics) – MBA or PGDBA Preferred – solid hands on experience on warehouse establishment and process establishment

Desired Characteristics

·       Experience in Stores / warehousing, Logistics and writing reports using MS Office

·       Experience with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle Apps

·       Strong quantitative and analytical skills

·       Strong communication skills

·       Experience in WMS

·       Experience in establishing external warehouse

·       Experience in stock transfer transactions

·       Handled highly complicated operations
