We are seeking a skilled Mold Tool Maker responsible for manufacturing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining plastic injection molds to ensure high-quality production and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble new injection molds as per design drawings.
Perform mold maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
Interpret 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, and technical specifications.
Operate tool room machines such as:
CNC Milling
EDM (Spark & Wire Cut)
Surface Grinder
Lathe Machine
Fit and assemble mold components with high precision.
Ensure proper alignment, venting, cooling, and ejection systems.
Conduct mold trials and support production during sampling.
Identify root causes of mold-related defects (flash, short shot, burn mark, mismatch, etc.).
Maintain dimensional accuracy as per tolerance requirements.
Follow safety and quality standards in tool room operations.
