Digital Lead

We
are now building the digital and AI backbone of the company, and we need
someone to lead it.

The role

The
north star is easy to say and hard to do: make Pakka the most technology -driven
regenerative packaging company in the world. Day to day, you own how data, AI,
and better ways of working move through the company, from the plant floor to
the customer. You will set the strategy, build the first tools yourself or
alongside a small team, and grow that team to four or five people in Noida. You
report into the leadership group and work alongside the business heads.

This
is a build role, not an advisory one. People here are already wiring up an AI
production planner, a WhatsApp bot that answers profitability questions off
live data, and an automated dealer portal. Your job is to make that the norm
rather than the exception.

What you will own

Over
the next few years, your work should show up in the company's own numbers:

●      A digital -first customer
experience and a single view of the customer, lifting NPS past 50.

●      AI in production and inventory
planning that pushes OEE past 80.

●      Product development that runs on
data, growing new -product vitality past 20% of sales.

●      A digitised employee lifecycle,
from onboarding to exit, lifting eNPS past 60.

●      Automation and cleaner data that
improve capital efficiency, ROCE past 25.

We
will agree your exact targets together.

What you will actually do

●      Set the digital and AI vision,
and get the leadership and the Sanghs to believe in it.

●      Turn a deep read of our current
systems and where we are headed into a multi -year roadmap.

●      Fix the data. Some of it is
fragmented, much of our secondary sales through partners is invisible to us,
and twenty years of plant data still is not usable. Build one source of truth.

●      Choose tools and platforms on
merit, and make them easy enough that people actually use them.

●      Put sensible guardrails on AI so
we use it responsibly.

●      Raise the whole company's AI
literacy, from the plant floor to the office.

●      Bring plant DCS and OT data
together with IT systems so the factory can run on live decisions.

●      Justify every rupee of digital
spend with a clear return, and stop what does not pay off.

●      Decide what to build in -house
and what to do with partners, and bring in consultants when it earns its keep.

Requirements

The
tricky part is the background, because there is no clean template for this
person. The role needs four things that rarely sit in one head. Strategy, so
you can set direction. Building, so you can ship data and AI systems people
use. Operations, so you understand a factory and a supply chain. And the
ability to move an organisation, because none of it lands if people do not
change how they work.

So
we are hiring for the shape of the person, not the pedigree. You might come
from:

●      Digital or AI transformation
inside a manufacturing or industrial company, where you shipped working systems
rather than slides.

●      A data or AI product background,
if you are drawn to the physical world of factories and supply chains and want
to own outcomes end to end.

●      A forward -deployed or
solutions -engineering role, where you embedded with a business and turned messy
problems into software that works.

●      Building and running your own
data or AI -heavy venture, and wanting to do it now at real scale.

What
we will not bend on: you have personally built, or led the building of, data
and AI systems that people rely on. You have pushed change through a real
organisation and lived with the friction. You are at ease as the most technical
person in a business meeting and the most business -minded person in a technical
one. And you want to understand how things get made.

Enough
years behind you to have done this, not so many that you have stopped building
with your own hands. Roughly five to eight years in. What matters most is
drive. You ship, you own the result, and you do not wait for a perfect brief
before you move. If you need everything defined before you start, this is not
the seat.
