About the Role
You will be working in the Predictive Intelligence & SEO team within Elsevier Data Centre of Excellence. The work focusses our website () where you will collaborate with content, product and e-commerce teams from all over the world.
Responsibilities
Working with Content teams based on site strategy, roadmap, and business requests to meet those strategic and tactical analytics needs.
Developing our “data-driven decision-making culture” and proactively bring customer insights to influence and guide online analytics strategy.
Executing supporting, and translate experiments to A/B and multivariate test new site features, functionalities, and content.
Validating quality, consistency, accessibility, and structure of data, validate models, and ensure preparation of data for machine learning algorithms.
Ensuring all periodical and ad-hoc reporting on visitors/ customer files. Own insight delivery activities and realisation, and elaborate to managers on interpretation.
Conducting analysis of data and reports by combining, interpreting external, internal quantitative and qualitative data, processes, development by data mining
Discovering ways in which business value can be added to the data, design customer interfaces for specific customer needs
Requirements
Be a degree holder in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or a related direction
3 years+ of relevant work experience or demonstrable capabilities as a Web Analyst in an Agile Team
Have technical skills, statistics, and the ability to draw business insights from data. Experience in Tableau / other data visualization tools
Have good communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders.
