Job Description - Digital Marketing Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Consultant who will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, understanding their digital marketing needs, and closing deals. The consultant will work on pre -qualified leads, provide expert guidance on digital marketing strategies, and convert prospects into paying clients. A separate team will handle campaign execution and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation & Sales

  • Engage with inbound leads provided by the company and consult them on suitable digital marketing solutions.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements, pain points, and goals.
  • Recommend tailored SEO, PPC, social media, and marketing automation strategies based on client needs.
  • Build trust with potential clients through clear communication and industry expertise.
  • Overcome objections and guide clients toward decision -making and service sign -up.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service agreements.
  • Close deals by addressing client concerns and highlighting service value.

Collaboration with the Operations Team

  • Coordinate with the internal digital marketing team for campaign execution.
  • Ensure smooth handover of closed deals with proper documentation of client requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between clients and the execution team to set the right expectations.
  • Stay updated on service offerings, case studies, and industry trends to advise clients better.

Follow -ups & Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular follow -ups with prospects to nurture and convert them.
  • Keep detailed records of client interactions using a CRM system.
  • Provide post -sales advisory if needed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or digital marketing consulting.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, social media, and digital marketing concepts.
  • Ability to explain complex marketing strategies in simple terms to clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools, email follow -up tools, and sales tracking systems.
  • Strong consultative selling approach with a focus on closing deals.
  • Self -motivated, goal -driven, and able to handle multiple client interactions daily.

Requirements

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a digital marketing agency, SaaS sales, or B2B consulting.
  • Background in selling Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO services, or marketing automation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or similar sales platforms.
