Job Description - Digital Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

The Monster Energy Digital Marketing Manager will focus on digital marketing and strategy support, social media publication, and community engagement to ensure active Monster Energy social engagement in India while promoting the Monster Energy brand and culture.

This person will also assist in the administration of the other Monster Energy family of websites and will monitor platform analytics to provide the larger team with actionable demographic, geographic, and psycho-graphic insights that can be shared with the larger marketing team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Actively engage India Monster Energy fans in, market specific, local dialect with help of the digital agency, broader digital marketing and brand marketing teams
• Directly manage the local relationship with the digital agency in India including, but not limited to, strategy development and implementation, tactic development and implementation, social media campaign creation, video content creation, and other related duties.
• Be the digital “eyes and ears” of the brand and continue to build an overall reputation that is aligned with company branding guidelines and policies
• Assist with the creation, conception, and presentation of social media integration effort for offline/online marketing campaigns in the region
• Facilitate interaction with fans, while shaping brand presence, to maintain a consistent Monster Energy brand voice for community engagement and discussion
• Participation and moderation of online conversations pertaining to the brand, answer comments, concerns, and questions
• Forge strong and trusted relationships with key local brand evangelists and encourage interaction across our channels
• Utilize familiarity with social media monitoring tools to proactively analyze and report community feedback and social media data
• Use familiarity with the nuances of the action and motorsports community to support marketing and public relations efforts
• Publish and distribute Monster Energy content relevant to India via the appropriate social media channels
• Coordinate and publish translated Monster Energy media content (video and written), of interest to the region, through the Monster Energy website, social media channels, and 3rd party channels
• Work with local Monster Energy marketing teams, sponsored athletes, musicians, and personalities to gather and deliver behind the scenes information to our online audience
• Develop, coordinate, and execute innovative promotions internally and with industry partners for use across social media and web channels
• Stay on the edge of Action and Motorsports developments particularly to Monster Energy endorsed/supported talent
• Create monthly and quarterly reports pertaining to user experience, page views, activity, traffic, etc. to measure success and share positive stories with the marketing teams
• Lead social media involvement in relevant emerging trends, applications, and tools.

Position Requirements:

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Familiarity with the nuances, differences, and cultural attributes of the India market
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business, and/or related fields.
• Knowledge of the major social media networks including their design, technology, functionality, and users
• Knowledge of current social media trends
• Comprehensive understanding of how social media impacts brands and how it relates to delivering business objectives
• Previous management of brand promotions and partnerships preferred
• Must be focused, self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
• Extremely attentive to detail with the ability to anticipate and adapt to quick change
• Ability to successfully manage multiple schedules and projects simultaneously
• A proven ability to take initiative and be proactive
• Ability to work well and communicate within a team
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to think strategically and effectively as well as be able to clearly present new ideas
• Be a creative thinker
• Experience with website management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Intermediate graphic design experience: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects a plus
