Job Purpose

• Proxy Product Owner works with the Product Owner and the technical teams to ensure the project standards implementation and communicates the changes in an efficient manner
• Detail design of the solution including functional specification, use cases, interfaces, workflows
• Perform analysis to define requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
• Establish relationships with the stakeholders through deep understanding of the business domain
• Represent the business when dealing with project stakeholders; regular on-site presence
• Work closely and collaboratively with Agile development teams
• Uses his/her technical expertise and experience to lead all sprint events with the digital squad.
• Manage the product backlog and roadmap.
• Gather requirements, define functionality and set up goals in clear, actionable format to drive product delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, product designers, engineers, Governance, Compliance and other internal units.

   

Key Responsibility

1. Strategic Expansion:
   • Lead the creation and implementation of business banking onboarding journeys across multiple countries.
   • Utilize group knowledge and technologies to ensure efficient and consistent journey creation in new regions.
2. Team and Stakeholder Management:
   • Oversee and manage a diverse team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
   • Engage with stakeholders across various regions to drive the digital strategy forward.
3. End-to-End Journey Solutioning:
   • Develop comprehensive solutions for business banking onboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
   • Move beyond backlog management to proactive journey creation and optimization.
4. Roadmap and Strategy Development:
   • Collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) to create and execute a robust digital strategy.
   • Work across different countries and units to leverage solutions and best practices, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of digital squads

Knowledge, Skill, Experience 

• At least 7 years of technical project delivery experience

• Gathering requirements and translating into user requirements, data engineering, data science, or software engineering experience

• Technical background in development or testing is a plus

• Background in engineering, technology, or UX preferred

• Experience as a Proxy Product Owner / Product Manager with software products

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle

• Experience in Agile methodologies

• Strong negotiation and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking with senior leaders

• Must be a strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

• Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically

• Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
