Function Summary


The Digital Agency Channel is a futuristic, tech-powered distribution model where insurance products are sold through digitally enabled Advisors. These Advisors leverage advanced digital tools, AI-driven insights, and hybrid customer journeys to deliver seamless, personalized insurance solutions. The channel is designed to elevate customer experience, optimize advisor productivity, and drive scalable growth in digitally inclined markets. Advisors in this model are equipped to-


Resolve policy service needs via digital platforms


Drive renewal collections and cross-sell opportunities using CRM and analytics


Deliver advisory excellence through app-based engagement and virtual consultations



Job Summary:


As a DSM, you will lead the charge in shaping a high-performance advisor ecosystem. You’ll recruit and onboard digitally ready Advisors, coach them on digital tools and sales practices, and ensure consistent activation and premium delivery. You’ll collaborate with tele-caller teams, use CRM dashboards, and conduct digital career seminars to drive funnel efficiency and advisor success.

Key Responsibilities/ Key Deliverables:


 


Advisor Recruitment  



  • Drive advisor acquisition aligned with annual recruitment goals

  • Leverage digital campaigns, lead management systems, and natural market outreach

  • Conduct Digital Career Seminars to onboard high-potential prospects

  • Ensure seamless onboarding: IC-38 certification, URN generation, and first sale


 Advisor Development  



  • Build advisor capabilities in digital prospecting, virtual consultations, and CRM usage

  • Facilitate goal-setting and activity planning using data dashboards

  • Collaborate with trainers to deliver personalized learning journeys via LMS


Advisor Activation & Meeting WFYP Targets 



  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets

  • Improve advisor productivity and persistency through structured interventions (PRP/IID/GID)

  • Integrate tele-caller support and campaign leads for enhanced conversion

  • Enable hybrid sales journeys (online + offline) for first-time sales


Advisor Engagement



  • Conduct webinars, app-based training, and gamified engagement activities

  • Promote usage of advisor apps, dashboards, and digital toolkits

  • Track and improve digital adoption metrics


Customer Centricity



  • Be AMLI brand ambassador & a customer champion  

  • Follow AMLI sales practice to develop deep customer loyalty  

  • Hold periodical customer meet to understand customer pulse & need

  • Ensure customer queries are responded to satisfactorily as per AMLI standard.



Measures of Success:



  • Advisor recruitment count

  • Advisor activation rate

  • Advisor training completion

  • App usage & adoption

  • Premium per advisor

  • Campaign lead conversion %

  • Development of advisor prospecting habits, calling habits and work habits.   

  • Work with Advisor on planning and reviewing of activities and goals.

  • Identify the training needs of the Advisor and work with Trainers to improve the same  

  • Advisor retention
