Job Description - Digital Transformation Consultant


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Transformation Consultant based in India.


This role offers an opportunity to drive large-scale transformation initiatives across logistics and warehousing operations for global clients. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and process improvement, helping organizations redesign supply chain capabilities, optimize operational performance, and implement enterprise-grade systems. The position involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to deliver measurable business impact. You will be part of cross-functional transformation programs that span multiple geographies, combining strategic advisory with hands-on execution. This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys solving real operational challenges through digital enablement. You will also contribute to change management, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and technologies across client organizations.


Accountabilities:



  • Lead end-to-end digital transformation initiatives within logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring successful delivery of process, technology, and KPI improvement programs.

  • Analyze and map complex supply chain and warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies and define improvement opportunities aligned with business goals.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization.

  • Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with transformation PMO teams to identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.

  • Support solution design, capability assessment, gap analysis, and future-state operating model definition for global client environments.

  • Lead stakeholder alignment sessions with operations, delivery, and business leaders to ensure execution consistency across geographies.

  • Oversee change management activities including communication plans, training, and adoption strategies to support successful deployment.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related discipline from a reputed institution.

  • 3–6 years of experience in consulting or industry roles, preferably within FMCG, retail, manufacturing, high-tech, or consumer goods sectors.

  • Strong hands-on experience (2–4 years minimum) in logistics or warehouse process improvement or implementation projects.

  • Practical knowledge of ERP and WMS/TMS platforms such as SAP WM/EWM, Manhattan, or Blue Yonder.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights.

  • Proven stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills in global or distributed environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in building business cases and identifying transformation opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environment.

  • Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD are considered a plus.
