Seeking a seasoned professional to lead policy advocacy initiatives in the financial sector. The role involves driving impactful engagement with government bodies, regulators, and key stakeholders while overseeing research, events, and strategic projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the team’s P&L and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives aligned with sectoral priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage policy advocacy efforts within the financial services domain.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with regulatory authorities, government bodies, industry stakeholders, and think tanks.
• Oversee and deliver high-quality research, whitepapers, and policy briefs relevant to the financial sector.
• Plan and execute sector-focused events, roundtables, and consultations to shape and influence policy outcomes.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and regulatory developments.
• Manage team performance and be accountable for achieving financial targets and profitability (P&L ownership).
• Represent the organization in high-level meetings, working groups, and public forums related to financial sector reforms.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Proven expertise in financial sector policy, regulation, or industry engagement.
• Strong background in research, policy formulation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in leading advocacy campaigns or projects with measurable impact.
• Excellent understanding of the financial ecosystem including banking, capital markets, insurance, and fintech.
• Demonstrated success in P&L management, team leadership, and strategic planning.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
