Position Overview:

Akaike Technologies, a premier data science company committed to delivering innovative solutions for data-driven decision-making, is currently seeking an accomplished Director of Delivery to lead our esteemed Data Science Division. This pivotal role requires adept leadership, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of data science methodologies to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data engineers, architects, front-end and back-end developers, and project managers to deliver exceptional data science solutions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Establish and refine project management processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Own the P&L for the delivery team
• Responsible for revenue growth of existing customer accounts
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
• Provide strategic direction and cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance metrics, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
• Partner with the executive committee to execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth and uphold our industry leadership.
• Lead the expansion of the delivery team by attracting top talent and overseeing comprehensive training programs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering bespoke data science solutions that drive tangible business outcomes.
• Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation to drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in delivering data science projects and Generative AI, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Deep understanding of data science methodologies, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
