We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Demand Generation to lead and scale our global demand engine. This is a senior leadership role for a growth-oriented marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, data, and revenue impact. Based in Chennai, this full-time position will own the end-to-end demand generation strategy, driving predictable pipeline growth across inbound, outbound, product-led, and account-based motions.
As Director of Demand Generation, you will partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps, and Leadership to design integrated programs that attract, engage, and convert high-quality prospects across the funnel. You will be responsible for building scalable systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring marketing efforts directly contribute to revenue outcomes. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on leadership, analytical rigor, and the ability to inspire and mentor high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with revenue and growth goals
Own pipeline creation, lead quality, conversion rates, and revenue attribution across channels
Lead multi-channel demand programs including paid media, content syndication, SEO, events, webinars, email, partnerships, and ABM
Build and optimize full-funnel journeys from awareness to conversion, retention, and expansion
Partner closely with Sales and RevOps to align on ICPs, target accounts, SLAs, and pipeline forecasting
Develop scalable campaign frameworks, playbooks, and experimentation models to drive consistent performance
Analyze performance metrics such as CAC, LTV, MQL-to-SQL conversion, pipeline velocity, and ROI
Leverage marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to improve targeting, personalization, and reporting
Build, mentor, and manage a high-impact demand generation team, fostering a culture of accountability and learning
Continuously test, iterate, and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights and market feedback
What Makes You a Great Fit
10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or revenue-focused marketing roles
Proven track record of building and scaling demand engines that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact
Strong expertise in full-funnel marketing, attribution modeling, and performance optimization
Experience working closely with Sales, RevOps, and Product Marketing in a revenue-aligned environment
Deep understanding of modern demand channels, including paid acquisition, ABM, lifecycle marketing, and content-led growth
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and comfort working with complex dashboards and metrics
Hands-on leader with experience building and managing high-performing marketing teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
Experience in fast-growing SaaS or B2B technology environments is strongly preferred
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-ownership, outcome-focused culture
