We are looking for a highly accomplished Director of Engineering to lead our technology teams and drive the successful development, delivery, and scaling of innovative products and solutions. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of proven experience in engineering leadership, a deep understanding of modern software development practices, and the ability to manage high-performing engineering teams. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills who can align technology initiatives with overall business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

As the Director of Engineering, you will partner closely with product, operations, and executive leadership teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions, optimize engineering practices, and mentor engineering leaders and managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership
• Define the engineering vision and strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide leadership across engineering teams to ensure high productivity, quality, and delivery.
• Drive continuous innovation, scalability, and adoption of best practices.
• Team Development & Management
• Build, manage, and mentor engineering managers, leads, and senior engineers.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Develop talent by providing coaching, guidance, and clear career progression pathways.
• Technology & Architecture
• Oversee system architecture, technical design, and engineering excellence.
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions across platforms.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that provide a competitive advantage.
• Execution & Delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and deliver high-quality products.
• Oversee the full product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
• Establish strong engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work with product leaders to align technology initiatives with customer needs and business growth.
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership on engineering performance and progress.
• Partner with operations, HR, and finance to plan resource allocation and budgeting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and delivering complex, scalable solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software development, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with short-term execution.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
