Role Overview
We are looking for a visually sharp and technically adept Director of Photography (DOP) to define and
execute the visual language of our educational video shoots at ALLEN Digital. In this individual
contributor role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage that enhances academic
delivery—ranging from faculty explanations to real-world experiments and demonstrations. You will
collaborate closely with directors and camera crews to ensure framing, lighting, and movement align
with creative and instructional goals. This role is ideal for cinematographers with a keen eye for detail,
experience in educational or documentary-style shoots, and a passion for visual storytelling in a high-
impact EdTech environment.

Job Responsibilities:

● Setup camera framing, lighting, and movement for recorded lectures
● Shoot props, experiments, and teaching aids with clarity
● Collaborate with Director and Cameramen
● Manage camera crew and gear

What we are looking for:

● Proficiency with DSLRs, mirrorless, or cinema cameras
● Educational or documentary-style shooting experience preferred
