Job Description - Director of Sales

Job Description

Develop and implement strategic sales plans, including goal setting, budgeting, and forecasting to maximize revenue across group, transient, and catering/banquet sales
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to adapt strategies and ensure business growth
Lead and manage the sales team, including recruitment, performance management, and professional development
Oversee all marketing, advertising, and public relations activities in collaboration with corporate departments
Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours, and high-level customer meetings
Engage with community and professional organizations to maintain visibility and promote a positive brand image
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales programs, developing new strategies as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and guest satisfaction
Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a reputable hospitality school with minimum 10 years of Sales management experience or at least 2 years in a similar capacity with proven records
High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen
Excellent proficiency in English (reading, writing, and oral communication)
