THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT: 

Our Professional Services Team is responsible for the implementation of our solution together with our partners.

ROLE:

As a Professional Services Director, you will oversee the successful implementation of Ivalua’s solutions across a portfolio of projects. Leading a team of Implementation Specialists and Implementation Leads, you will ensure project success by managing scope, budget, timeline, and quality while working cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Intelligence, and Product teams. You will play a pivotal role in customer satisfaction, partner support, and risk mitigation, while also contributing your own functional and technical expertise to project delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

Project Execution & Delivery

• Guarantee successful execution of all projects in your portfolio, ensuring timeliness, budget control, scope management, and quality


• Define and enforce operational processes to improve project efficiency


• Support the team operationally by providing best practices on business and Ivalua's solution

Customer & Partner Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer executives, building and maintaining strong relationships


• Provide governance and oversight for projects led by partners, ensuring alignment with Ivalua standards


• Manage risks and escalations effectively, securing remediation plans when needed

Financial & KPI Management

• Secure ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and gross margin on services, ensuring financial objectives are met


• Track and manage Professional Services KPIs (e.g., project profitability, resource utilization, customer satisfaction, time-to-value)


• Identify inefficiencies in project delivery and drive continuous improvements

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing Professional Services team


• Empower and grow team members through coaching, training, and development programs Provide functional and technical guidance, ensuring the team gains deep knowledge of Ivalua’s platform

Strategic & Product Contribution

• Contribute to the definition and execution of the Professional Services strategy


• Actively support the Innovation Success initiatives, working with customers to identify potential gaps and improvements for future implementations

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you: Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, project management, or professional services


• Strong procurement experience and understanding of Source-to-Pay processes


• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment


• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills


• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities


• Proven people management and leadership skills, with experience developing and mentoring teams


• Experience working in a multicultural, global environment


• Travel Expected


• BA/ BA degree in Procurement, Computer science, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent.
