The position requires a strategic yet hands-on professional capable of optimizing resources, strengthening monitoring systems, and building robust relationships with government bodies, CSR partners, and donors.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Strategy: Drive the overall program vision and translate strategic priorities into operational plans across various regions.
Program Execution & Delivery: Ensure seamless implementation with a focus on quality, timelines, and adherence to defined processes.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor large, multi-layered teams, ensuring strong succession planning and leadership capacity building.
Operational Planning: Oversee resource allocation, workforce planning, and budgeting for all programs to optimize efficiency.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact: Collaborate with MEL teams to drive data-led decision-making and track KPIs and impact metrics for stakeholder reporting.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a key representative in forums and maintain strong relationships with donors, CSR partners, and government bodies.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor requirements, and high standards of audit readiness.
Process Excellence: Streamline processes and implement best practices to drive continuous innovation in program operations.
Leadership: Strong team management skills with experience handling large, diverse teams.
Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of program operations in the education or development sector (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) preferred).
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in program management, budgeting, resource planning, and proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
Communication: Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
Analytical Approach: Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Total Experience: 12–15 years of overall professional experience.
Relevant Experience: At least 5–7 years specifically managing large-scale programs and teams.
Sector Requirement: Prior experience in the education or development sector is mandatory.
