Directory Services - Solution Architect - Job grade 4 - Active Directories 1 (m/f/d)

Responsibilities :

• 
  

  Design, implement, and enhance Active Directories (AD) and Cloud Directories (Entra ID and 21Vianet). 

  
  

• 
  

  Serve as a technical expert for authentication and authorization services, group policies and related Microsoft ecosystem components. 

  
  

• 
  

  Provide advanced troubleshooting and third-level support for complex issues across global environments. 

  
  

• 
  

  Collaborate closely with other architects, engineers, project managers and product owners in a global team setup. 

  
  

• 
  

  Participate in lifecycle management, including updates, patching, migrations, and system hardening. 

  
  

• 
  

  Document configurations, solution designs, and operational procedures. 

  
  

• 
  

  Contribute to ongoing process improvements, automation, and optimization. 

  
  

• 
  

  Create architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation. 

  
  

• 
  

  Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies.

Requirements 

Required Qualifications :

• 
  

  Completed university degree in Business IT, Business Economics, Business SCM, Information Science, Engineering or Natural Science (Bachelor) with at least five years of professional experience in: 

  
  

• 
  

  Active Directory administration 

  
  

• 
  

  Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022/2025) 

  
  

• 
  

  Solution architecture or infrastructure design 

  
  

• 
  

  Troubleshooting complex enterprise environments 

  
  

• 
  

  Second-level or third-level support roles 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong understanding of identity and access management, security principles, and best practices. 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience working in global or distributed teams with cross‑functional collaboration. 

  
  

• 
  

  Proficiency with scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and operational tasks. 

  
  

• 
  

  Excellent communication skills in English. 
  
  

  
  

Preferred Qualifications :

• 
  

  Windows Server–based infrastructure solutions. 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, hybrid identity, or cloud‑based identity services.

  Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

  Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper‑V, VMware), networking fundamentals, or enterprise monitoring tools.

  Experience with Linux-based Operating Systems.
