Description

As a Disbursement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our Sales department, specifically within the Working Capital-Sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the disbursement process for both Personal Loans (PL) and Working Capital loans. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and timely disbursement of funds to our customers, maintaining a high level of accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.



Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the disbursement process for PL and Working Capital loans, ensuring timely and accurate fund transfers.

  • Review and verify loan documentation, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.

  • Communicate with customers, providing updates on loan disbursement status and addressing any queries or concerns.

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to understand customer needs and ensure a seamless loan disbursement experience.

  • Maintain accurate records of disbursed loans, including tracking loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment schedules.

  • Monitor and analyze loan performance, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing appropriate measures.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high level of integrity.

  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loan disbursement, suggesting process improvements.

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management, contributing to the overall success of the team.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.

  • Strong knowledge of loan disbursement processes, including documentation, verification, and compliance.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling financial transactions.

  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, identifying and resolving issues promptly.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing industry trends and regulations.
