We are looking for a Document Controller to join our either at Chennai/ Gurgaon office and work within a functional team that is responsible for facilitating the document control management core functional processes at a project level in the planning, execution, and close-out phases. Together with customers, partners, and colleagues, we shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish. Your key responsibilities will be:
Managing the flow of project information and documentation between the delivery team, client, and other stakeholders.
Maintaining, controlling, and updating project documents within Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, ProjectWise, Asite, Dalux, and similar platforms.
Registering, tracking, distributing, and archiving all incoming and outgoing project documents, correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and other project records.
Preparing and maintaining document registers, tracking logs, and status reports to ensure timely reviews, approvals, and submissions.
Coordinating with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate document reviews, approvals, and information exchange.
Managing document numbering, metadata, filing structures, folder permissions, and compliance with client and project document control procedures.
Monitoring document workflows, expediting outstanding deliverables, and supporting internal and external review processes to ensure project deadlines are met.
Conducting periodic audits of document management systems and filing structures to maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.

Moreover, you will have:
A graduate degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in document control/document management, preferably on major international projects with reputed engineering / consultancy organisations.
Strong knowledge of document management standards, processes, procedures, and QA/QC requirements, with proven experience in document quality assurance.
Hands-on experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, ProjectWise, Asite, Dalux or similar platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related software applications used for document management and project collaboration.
Good understanding of engineering and construction documentation, project lifecycles, and technical document types.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced project environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with technical terminology used within the construction industry will be an added advantage
