Job Description - Driver

  • Safely transport students, staff, and materials to and from the special school and related locations.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of children during travel, especially children with special needs.
  • Assist students while boarding and exiting the vehicle when required.
  • Maintain punctuality for pick -up and drop schedules.
  • Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and organizational transport policies.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues immediately.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, hygienic, and in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with school administration regarding transport schedules and route changes.
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and responsibly during transportation.
  • Maintain proper records of vehicle usage, fuel, servicing, and trip details.
  • Ensure polite and professional behavior with students, parents, and staff.
  • Support students with mobility challenges or medical needs during travel when necessary.
