Job Description - Driver

Safely transport students, staff, and materials to and from the special school and related locations.

Ensure the safety and comfort of children during travel, especially children with special needs.

Assist students while boarding and exiting the vehicle when required.

Maintain punctuality for pick -up and drop schedules.

Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and organizational transport policies.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues immediately.

Keep the vehicle clean, hygienic, and in good working condition.

Coordinate with school administration regarding transport schedules and route changes.

Handle emergency situations calmly and responsibly during transportation.

Maintain proper records of vehicle usage, fuel, servicing, and trip details.

Ensure polite and professional behavior with students, parents, and staff.

Support students with mobility challenges or medical needs during travel when necessary.
