Job Description: Dynatrace Expert / Observability Solution Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynatrace Expert to lead the architecture, deployment, and configuration of observability solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing and implementing Dynatrace-based monitoring solutions, integrating with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP), and aligning with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

This role is instrumental in driving full-stack observability, ensuring service reliability, improving performance monitoring, and supporting long-term AIOps strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture

Design Dynatrace tenant structure with focus on multi-tenancy, security, and data residency.

Define architecture for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ServiceNow integration.

Evaluate and implement best practices for corporate and managed cloud environments.

2. Deployment & Monitoring Configuration

Deploy and configure Dynatrace SaaS platform and Azure infrastructure.

Set up and manage Dynatrace ActiveGates, OneAgents, and cloud account connections.

Ensure reliable network connectivity from ActiveGates to Dynatrace SaaS endpoints.

Configure monitoring for VMs, containers, databases, APIs, serverless services, and applications.

Tune alerts, set maintenance windows, and optimize resource auto-detection.

Implement log ingestion and tracing strategies with event correlation for actionable insights.

Implement monitoring for Azure services, security subscriptions, and service health.

Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow (Corp & MS Clients), confirming multi-tenant compatibility.

Monitor .NET/Java applications and configure SNMP monitoring for internal devices.

Enable and optimize Dynatrace AIOps features

3. Dashboarding & Reporting

Build real-time dashboards for:

- Application health (response time, traffic, error rates).

- Infrastructure metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network).

- Cloud services (Azure metrics and statuses).

- SLA compliance and performance indicators.

4. Governance & Operations

Define and implement governance framework for observability operations.

Identify service ownership, roles, and responsibilities.

Develop SOPs for onboarding, support, and incident handling.

Document all configurations and deployment guides.

Conduct structured knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS and Managed environments.

Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud infrastructures.

Experience with ServiceNow integration (native and certified apps).

Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring (VMs, containers), application performance monitoring (APM), and log analytics.

Familiarity with ActiveGate, OneAgent deployment, and SNMP device monitoring.

Strong analytical skills and understanding of AIOps practices.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Experience in creating dashboards and defining alerting strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Dynatrace certification (Associate or Professional).

ITIL or Service Management experience.

Exposure to enterprise security and compliance standards.

Experience working in multi-tenant or large enterprise environments.
