The successful candidate’s role will be as a Assistant Engineer/ Designer within the GCC team in our Noida/Bengaluru/Mumbai office producing detailed highway and drainage engineering designs and drawings. You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time.
Key Competencies / Skills
Mandatory Skills
• The successful candidate is likely to be a Professional or near-Professional engineer having at least 2 years’ post-graduate similar work experience in Core highway design field.
• Candidate should have good knowledge in the following areas:
o Primarily - Highway Geometric Design principles & 3D modelling
o Other areas - Drainage Design /modelling, Pavement design, Pavement marking, Traffic Sign & signal design, Utility modelling
• Familiarity with US highway, UK highway standards is desirable.
• Proficiency required in Open Roads/Inroads/ Geopak /Civil 3D /similar design software.
• Applied knowledge and understanding with AASHTO, DMRB, MUTCD, and FHWA ,IRC Standards/Specifications/Guidelines.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, and MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point) is expected.
Desired Skills
• The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will take on a technical & project work, focused on delivery to the client with technical excellence.
• The role requires design delivery of number of projects and becoming involved in design at an early stage. .
• Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role.
• High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision.
• Shall poses a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Highways or Transportation Engineering
• Master of Science (preferably in engineering) or Transportation Engineering is advantageous
• Minimum 2 years’ of post graduate working experience on infrastructure projects and detail design of highways.
• Experience to work in/with other cultures,International project experience is required.
