Early Professional, Project Controls

The Project Controller will support AUS Mining projects by managing and controlling cost, schedule, risk, and reporting. The role works closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, and commercial functions to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with governance standards.

• Cost & Financial Control: Manage budgets, forecasts (EAC/ETC), variance analysis.
• Planning & Scheduling: Support MSP/P6 schedules, track progress and critical path.
• Reporting: Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and project performance insights.
• Risk & Change: Maintain project data, trackers, and registers (risk, change, issues)
• Governance: Support WBS, baselines, and ensure process compliance.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate project data and reporting systems.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with PMs, engineers, and finance teams.
Skills & Competencies:
• Cost management, forecasting, scheduling and reporting.
• Understanding EVM concepts (CPI, SPI, EAC)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work in global, multidisciplinary teams
Tools:
• Advanced Excel
• MS Project / Primavera P6 (preferred)
• Power BI (desirable)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Project Management / related field
• Certifications such as PMP / Primavera / AACE (preferred)
