Job Description:

Nalanda Vidyaniketan is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Dance Teacher to lead our dance program. This role includes both ECA Master and ECA Developer positions, designed for individuals who are deeply passionate about dance education and have a proven track record of leadership in the performing arts. The successful candidate will spearhead curriculum development, promote excellence in dance education, and engage students in high -level performances aligned with CBSE standards.

Responsibilities:

Advanced Curriculum Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive and advanced dance curriculum that meets CBSE guidelines and fosters high levels of student engagement and achievement.
Innovate and integrate various dance forms to enhance creativity and performance skills.
Instructional Leadership:
Deliver expert -level instruction in various dance styles, catering to a diverse student body.
Mentor students and faculty, and conduct specialized workshops and master classes.
Assessment and Program Evaluation:
Employ sophisticated assessment strategies to monitor student progress and evaluate program effectiveness.
Offer detailed, constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
Performance and Artistic Direction:
Choreograph and direct significant school dance productions and competitions.
Organize and lead dance events that elevate the school’s profile within the community.
Professional Development and Collaboration:
Lead professional development initiatives for the arts faculty.
Work collaboratively across disciplines to enrich the school’s educational offerings.

Experience:

ECA Master: 4 to 8 years of teaching experience.
ECA Developer: 9 years or more of teaching experience, including leadership roles in educational settings.

Qualifications:

Postgraduate degree in Dance or a related field.
Additional specialization certificates in dance.
For ECA Developer: Recognition in the dance field, such as merit certificates and medals.

Screening Process:

Language proficiency assessment through the Teams app.
Evaluation of leadership skills and team management abilities.
Basic MS Office skills and typing speed test (minimum 20 WPM).
Verification of experience in reputed schools.
Demonstration session to evaluate teaching effectiveness and interaction with students.
