Job Description - ECommerce Marketing

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 2100000 - Rs 4200000 (ie INR 21-42 LPA)

Min Experience: 7 years

Location: Mumbai

JobType: full-time

The E-Commerce Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing data-driven marketing campaigns across major e-commerce platforms. This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset to drive revenue growth, improve ROI, and scale high-value product portfolios. The role also includes managing a marketing executive who supports reporting and campaign execution across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and set measurable targets for campaign success
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches
  • Drive scale-up strategies for premium and higher AOV products within the portfolio

Campaign Management

  • Own and optimize paid marketing campaigns across leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, Jio, and similar marketplaces
  • Ensure campaigns align with brand guidelines, category objectives, and platform best practices
  • Manage campaign structures, bidding strategies, and audience targeting to maximize performance

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze campaign performance data to uncover insights, trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting ROI, growth drivers, and improvement areas
  • Guide the marketing executive on reporting accuracy and performance tracking

Budget Management

  • Plan, allocate, and manage marketing budgets efficiently to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Track campaign spends and ensure adherence to approved budgets with clear visibility on performance

Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with creative and content teams to develop high-impact ad creatives and messaging
  • Coordinate with other marketing functions such as SEO, social media, and CRM to ensure integrated campaign execution

Market Research & Insights

  • Stay updated on e-commerce marketing trends, platform innovations, and digital best practices
  • Conduct competitor and category analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks

Optimization & Experimentation

  • Continuously test and optimize campaigns using A/B testing, audience segmentation, and creative experiments
  • Implement data-backed optimizations to improve conversion rates, reduce CAC, and scale profitable campaigns
