Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an E-commerce Merchandiser and Operations Specialist specializing in Brand Coordination, Order Management, Logistics Management, and Customer Relations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing designer onboarding, customer orders, quality control of products, shipping, vendor/brand relationships, and providing excellent customer service throughout the order fulfillment process.
Responsibilities
Brand Coordination
- Responsible for designer onboarding on the website, including product updates or changes
- Responsible for managing communications with designers on a day-to-day basis
- Plan and execute promotions for allocated designers in coordination with the Founder & CEO
Order Management
- Prepare purchase orders based on orders placed on the websites and share them with designers
- Liaise with customers, along with the Founder & CEO to understand their customization
requirements and preferences
- Ensure accurate implementation of customizations during product production
- Track order progress and communicate updates to customers in a timely manner
Logistics Management
- Collaborate with the designers to ensure timely receiving of products as per customer requirements
- Perform quality checks of all orders and pack them as per company standards before dispatching products to the US
- Coordinate with shipping partners to arrange for timely and secure deliveries
- Address any dispatch-related issues or delays proactively to minimize customer inconvenience
Customer Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order updates
- Provide personalized assistance and guidance to customers regarding product selection and customization options, along with the Founder & CEO
- Monitor client orders and alterations
- Address customer feedback and concerns promptly via email, WhatsApp, and iMessage to ensure a positive experience
Additional Tasks
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Company Leadership
Requirements
- Previous experience in operations, shipping, or e-commerce for 2+ years is required
- Prior experience with a multi-designer fashion company is preferred
- Should have a startup mindset; no task is too small or too big
- Should have keen attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Must be willing to come to the designated office 5-6 times a week
- Should be comfortable using Google Sheets/Docs/Mail
- Must be willing to work some early mornings or late nights to overlap with the US team
- Must be fluent in both written and verbal English
