EDI Partner Onboarding Analyst

​​​​​​Job Summary

Support end-to-end onboarding of external trading partners into the organization’s B2B/EDI integration environment. Coordinate with partners and internal application, integration, infrastructure, network, business, and support teams to ensure successful partner setup, testing, deployment, and ongoing transaction support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage partner onboarding from requirement gathering through production deployment.


• Collect and validate partner specifications, technical documents, connectivity details, certificates, and business requirements.


• Support B2B/EDI integrations involving EDI X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, IDoc, and flat files.


• Work with EDI transactions including 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, and 852.


• Assist with partner configuration, TPAs, partner IDs, routing rules, maps, profiles, and file-processing parameters.


• Coordinate connectivity setup and testing using SFTP, AS2, FTPS, HTTPS, VAN, and other B2B protocols.


• Coordinate mapping, transformation, unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production validation.


• Monitor inbound/outbound transactions and troubleshoot failed, delayed, or rejected messages.


• Support production deployments, change requests, approvals, and post-production validation.


• Maintain onboarding documentation, trackers, configurations, and implementation records.


• Coordinate with technical/support teams to resolve integration and connectivity issues.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of EDI/B2B integration and transaction flows.


• Knowledge of EDI transactions: 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 852.


• Understanding of XML, CSV, JSON, and flat-file formats.


• Basic knowledge of FTP/SFTP/AS2 connectivity.


• Good troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.


• Ability to understand technical specifications and coordinate with multiple teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Seeburger BIS or similar B2B/EDI platforms.


• Knowledge of SAP IDocs and SAP integration.


• Experience with EDI mapping and transformation.


• Knowledge of X12 and EDIFACT standards.


• Understanding of certificates and secure B2B communication.


• Experience with production deployments/change management.


• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar tools.


• Basic SQL or scripting/programming knowledge is a plus.
