About the Role:
As an Associate Academic Counselor at IIDE, Lower Parel, you will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through their educational journey. This role involves counseling students on IIDE’s digital marketing courses, mentoring junior counselors, managing student communications, and contributing towards sales targets while ensuring a high standard of student experience and engagement.
You will provide career guidance, address student and parent queries, support course enrollments, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain excellent counseling standards across the admissions process.
What You'll Do:
â Student Counseling & Guidance:
â Counsel students on IIDE’s digital marketing programs, helping them select the right course based on their interests, career aspirations, and goals.
â Communicate with students and parents both in -person and over calls to address queries and guide them through available course options.
â Provide career guidance and support students throughout their decision -making and learning journey.
â Mentorship & Team Collaboration:
â Mentor and support junior counselors to strengthen counseling capabilities and improve performance.
â Assist in onboarding and training new team members to maintain consistency across the counseling team.
â Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless student experience.
â Target Achievement & Reporting:
â Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counseling and enrollment targets.
â Track lead conversions, maintain follow -ups, and calculate conversion rates for improved performance.
â Utilize CRM tools and sales automation systems to generate reports, monitor sales performance, and improve efficiency.
â Meet defined KPIs, including:
Minimum 60–80 connected calls per day
2–3 hours of average active talk time per day
Consistent achievement of weekly revenue targets aligned with batch requirements
â Additional Duties:
â Handle complex student concerns, escalations, and larger student groups as required.
â Take ownership of additional responsibilities aligned with senior counseling requirements.
â Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.
Who You Are:
â Must -Have:
â 1–2 years of experience in counseling or sales, preferably in the EdTech industry.
â Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication abilities.
â Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to engage, guide, and inspire students.
â Interest and experience in educational counseling and sales with a goal -oriented mindset.
â Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
â Candidate must be residing in Mumbai.
â Should Have:
â Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast -paced work environment.
â Demonstrated leadership potential with the willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves.
â Ability to mentor peers and contribute positively to team performance.
â Nice to Have:
â Prior experience working in an EdTech company, especially in student counseling or admissions sales.
â Certifications or working knowledge in digital marketing or educational counseling.
