Department: Operations
Reports To: Assistant General Manager/General Manager
Supervises: Assistant Resident Manager, Supervisors, Associates, Trainee Associates, Housekeeping Associates, Kitchen & Service Team
The Resident Manager (RM) is responsible for the overall operations and guest experience of both the Rooms Division and Restaurant at RDC – Round D Clock. The role ensures seamless coordination between F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments to maintain high standards of service, hygiene, profitability, and guest satisfaction—round the clock.
1. Operational Management
• Supervise daily operations of restaurant, room service, and front office and the complete premises.
• Ensure 24x7 readiness for guest service with proper staff rotation and shift management.
• Conduct daily briefings with restaurant and front office teams.
• Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and ambience across all guest and service areas.
• Ensure smooth check -in/check -out process and guest dining experiences.
• Enforce brand SOPs and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
2. Guest Experience & Quality Control
• Ensure guest complaints are promptly resolved and logged.
• Maintain guest satisfaction scores and handle VIP guests personally.
• Conduct random audits for rooms, kitchen, service area, and washrooms.
• Oversee hygiene, FSSAI compliance, and food presentation standards.
3. Financial & Administrative
• Prepare & Review daily sales reports, room occupancy, and restaurant revenue.
• Optimize profitability through efficient manpower, cost control, and upselling.
• Approve store indents, petty cash, and staff duty rosters.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with purchase for replenishment.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for management review.
4. Team Leadership & Training
• Supervise and guide all department heads and line staff.
• Conduct regular training sessions on grooming, service standards, and brand ethos.
• Evaluate staff performance, recommend appraisals, and manage discipline.
• Foster a motivated, guest -centric culture.
5. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure proper tracking of compliance with statutory regulations, fire safety norms, and hotel licenses.
• Conduct routine safety drills and enforce security procedures.
• Coordinate with external agencies (pest control, AMC vendors, laundry, etc.).
