What will you do?  

• Lead, motivate and develop team of young electrical & instrumentation engineers in executing refrigeration packages which involve API 619 Machines, Heat exchangers, pressure vessels, piping, motors etc.
• Actively participate in the continuous & progressive development of the team 
• Continuously work towards a more efficient, leaner, transparent, digital and operationally reliable processes

• Interact with various internal disciplines like Projects, SCM, Quality & Factory 
• Interact & maintain good relations with customers
• Actively involve in Sub-vendor qualification & control during procurement and project execution stages

• Follow the engineering execution process and align with the other functions within team to meet the on time in full deliveries with Quality

• Release of Technical specification & Purchase requisitions required for sub-orders procurement

• Lead critical Project meetings like KOM, PIM, HAZOP, SIL etc. and actively engage team to close the punch items on time in order not to impact the contractual obligations

• Prepare and maintain the BOM and Engineering drawings with respect to change management system. 
• Review and validate the technical offers from vendors and provide engineering comments and approvals after detailed technical evaluation

• Extend support required on shop floor & site. Attend and provide appropriate solution for the problems on shop floor & site related to engineering. 
• Follow Lessons learnt from previsions projects, take appropriate action, and maintain lessons register during the execution. 
• Extend support to pre-sales team for E&IC related scope as needed
• Shall have working knowledge of relevant IEC, ISA, UL, API, NFPA, ISO etc. international standards relevant to Electrical and instrumentation. 

What we look for?

• Candidates should be able to understand process and accordingly design implements instruments, control, and electrical Philosophy/activity. 

•  Reviewing P&IDs and service diagram/electrical single line diagram for various processes, and/or Equipment using Autocad Electrical / Eplan. 

•  Review software and hardware design specifications, Switchgear & Instruments sizing and selection, Panel layout design, Wire Harness design, Cable selection, Instruments sizing and selection in line with IEC/UL/CSA/ATEX/CE standard. 

• Review of Instrument hook up diagrams along with BOMs 

• Review of JB & Cable Schedule, E & I Cable tray layouts, Earthing layouts, Panel, JB, Instrument location layouts 

• Review of IO List, Alarm / Trip List, Control Narrative, Logic Diagrams, C & E, Loop diagrams 

• Practical exposure to different starter types, panel, VFD, soft starter, LV/MV/HV motors 

• Analyze Customer Requirements & Expectations from the product in terms of Product Design 

• shall be well versed with hazardous area classification (ATEX/ IECEx) and selection of instruments, JB and control panel. 

• Shall be well versed with the concepts of Program designing, Testing, executing & verifying the PLC & Panel, and the complete gamut of Design and Drafting of Electrical wiring diagrams and logic Diagrams. 

• Experience in field trouble shooting, commissioning and start-up of control systems is required.
