Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:

• Design and development of Lithium-ion battery pack

Responsibilities:

• Cell selection/qualification


• Busbar design


• Responsible for field failure battery pack analysis.


• Simulation in Matlab or similar.

• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams like component development, vehicle integration etc... and resolve DFM / DFA comments.


• BMS bench testing.


• BMS/Battery test automation.


• Design verification plan preparation.


• CAN log and data analysis.

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional:

• Knowledge of battery & cell technology and components.


• In depth Knowledge on BMS and it’s functions.


• Battery debugging skills.


• Knowledge to use lab equipment’s.


• Software skills: Matlab/Simulink, Python.


• Technical documentation

Behavioral

• Good communication skills


• Quick learner

Specific expertise required for functional area:

• NMC/LFP pack design/development
